I was wrong about myself

Mar 26, 2026

I tend to think I’m always the kind to go all the way on something. But looking back, there is a pattern i just started to notice, which was not obvious to me before.

I have abandoned alot of efforts too early before they could be useful.

For example, I started a Twitter account to post stuff about thirdpen [@thirdpen_guy] abandoned it in less than a month.

I also started sending newsletters on thirdpen print, which is a hand written interactive explainers on some concept i find interesting..

But the open rate was literally zero, and found that alot of people actually unsubsribe from the thirdpen email list because of that. I stopped that one as well.

And notice, im already trying to give excuse for the above… sad.

Maybe these are stuff I just don’t find fun?

But should I not try a little longer if they help me get to where I want to be faster?

Or I’m i just a kind that is impatient and plays a short term game rather than long?

As i saw in a tweet: It slow progress, don’t make it slower by quiting. I, I quitted.

Yeah i’m obsessive bout engineering products, but not really about putting them out their to thrive?

Would reflex on this for much longer.
